Kandy
- When we arrive at the Colombo International Airport where our representatives will be waiting to greet and transfer you to Kandy. While on our way to Kandy, we’ll make a quick stop at the Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage which has become one of Sri Lanka’s most popular attraction. Tourists and locals all love meeting the residents here and interact with the 65 captive elephants who were saved from many situations. Some of them were orphaned and abandoned since babies, others were elderly matriarchs who can’t survive in the wild anymore or adults that had suffered from unethical treatments while in captivity.
- It is about 90km from Colombo and after you have fun playing with the elephants, we’ll head to Kandy to the hotel. We’ll check-in and let you rest for the night in Kandy.

- Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel in Kandy before we leave. We’re driving to Nuwara Eliya today and on our way there, we’ll visit Sri Bhaktha Hanuman Temple. It is one of the most important Hanuman temples in Sri Lanka, located on the summit of the gorgeous mountain in Ramboda. It was built in 1999 and believed to be where Hanuman rested while looking for Sita Devi. You’ll also see a pond called the Sita Tear Pond, which is said to be formed from the tears of Sita.
- The Tea Factory and Tea Plantations are the next destinations we’re visiting to look around the plantations and observe how they process and brew the Ceylon Tea.
- We’ll also drive into the jungle to visit one of the most popular falls in Nuwara Eliya, the Ramboda Falls. It is one of the most arguably prettiest falls in Sri Lanka. It cascades down three-tiers and features several levels with a natural pool and spa centre. The base of the Ramboda Falls is from where you can get the best and truly breathtaking view of the waterfall. You can take in the full delight of the view by staying at the Ramboda Hotel nearby.
- We’ll head to your hotel in Nuwara Eliya for your overnight stay.

Ella – Ravana Falls & Little Adam's Peak Tours
- Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel today before we set off. We’re heading out to enjoy nature that is Ella, which means waterfall in Sri Lankan language. And you can rest assured that this town truly lives up to this name with the number of waterfalls that you can find around here. It’s popular for the Nine Arches Bridge, Little Adam’s Peak, and Ravana’s Cave.
- We’re going to visit several of these highlights, starting with the Ravana Falls, an 82-feet/25m waterfall that cascades from a rock outcrop. It is one of the widest waterfalls in Sri Lanka and is located within the Ravana Ella Wildlife Sanctuary, just 6km from the Ella Railway Station. Legend has it that Princess Sita was hidden in the Ravana Ella Cave located behind the waterfall when Ravana kidnapped her. The pool formed by the waterfall is also said to be where Rama’s queen bathed.
- From the cave, we’ll head to Dhowa Cave Temple, a heritage rock temple of Sri Lanka. It is a spectacular place of worship, said to have been built by King Walagamba in the 1st century BC. It’s known for the paintings and sculptures adorning the rock walls. After the cave temple, we’ll visit the Little Adam’s Peak, an easy 30-minute climb with proper pathways you can take to enjoy the view. Enjoy the truly incredible view from Ella Gap after the hike.
- After the view, we’ll head back to your hotel in Nuwara Eliya to spend the night at.

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel before we check-out and head out from Nuwara Eliya. We’ll head to Galle, a city known for its Portuguese architecture and history. The tour in Galle begins when you arrive, with our first visit being the Galle Clock Tower. The Galle Clock Tower is located inside Galle Fort, an architectural feat that was remarkably fortified by the Dutch during the Colonial Era. The Galle Clock Tower is a popular landmark that was built in 1883 and was gifted by Mudaliyar Samson representing the appreciation of the people of Galle for Dr. P.D. Anthonisz.

City Tour of Galle
After breakfast proceed on a Galle city tour Galle the seaside town is famous for its well-preserved 17th century Dutch Fort, lace making andebony carvings. The journey to Galle is along the Palm fringed coast passing Ambalangoda, famousfor its mask makers and Hikkaduwa with its incredibly beautiful coral gardens and exotic tropicalfish. Seafood is a specialty all the way.

- Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel today. We’re heading out for an exciting day to the village of Mirissa. Located about 35km from Bentota, the village of Mirissa brags such a stunning view around the village and calm atmosphere that’ll make you want to stay.
- Whale-watching is also a popular activity here where visitors can hop on a boat to be taken to the best spots for this activity. It’s common to see the largest whale in the world, the blue whales, and dolphins while we’re out in the seas here. You can also catch sight other gorgeous marine species like the orcas or killer whales, manta rays, turtles, and whale sharks.
- From Mirissa, we’ll head to Colombo, the most populated city in Sri Lanka. It’s a modern city that has developed impressively from a small port town. Shoppers especially love going on a Colombo shopping tour with so many things to explore and buy. It’s also one where historical buildings blend in with the modern houses due to the rapid developments.
- We’ll head back to the hotel in Colombo where you’ll spend your last night.

- Colombo is the business and commercial center and the new capital is Sri Jayawardhanapura Kotte, only a few miles away. Colombo was only a small seaport, which came into prominence in the 16th Century with the arrival of the Portuguese in 1505 and the development of it as a major Harbor took place during the British period. Colombo became the capital of Sri Lanka in 1815 after Kandyan Kingdom was ceded to the British. The remains of the buildings during the period of the Portuguese, Dutch and British rule are found in every area of the city. None of the Portuguese & Dutch fortifications are found today but some of their buildings and churches could be seen in the Fort & Pettah areas. Visit Fort, the former British administrative center and military garrison, Sea Street - the Goldsmith’s quarters in the heart of Pettah, the Bazaar area where there is also a Hindu Temple with elaborate stone carvings, the Kayman’s Gate with the Belfry at the original gate to enter the Fort, the Dutch Church of Wolfendhaal dating back to 1749, Kelaniya Buddhist Temple dating to 6th C.B.C., Davatagaha Mosque, Colombo Museum and the Natural History Museum are some of the sites to be visited. Also visit the BMICH (Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall), see the replica of Avukana Buddha in front and the Independence Memorial. Take out time for some shopping before returning back to your hotel.
